Family Night BBQ

Every Wednesday night during RSR Summer Camp is Family Night and you’re invited!  Join us as we celebrate BSA’s Centennial Anniversary with a birthday party one hundred years in the making.

Our legendary Family Night BBQ is a real crowd pleaser and with the addition of the brand new Grizz Uline Family Picnic Pavilion in 2009 the party just got a whole lot better.

The highlight of every Family Night BBQ is the outdoor pig roast.  Other entrees include chicken or hot dogs and a full complement of side dishes will be on hand to satisfy the hungriest of appetites.

Following the BBQ, families are invited to stick around for the Parent’s Night Campfire, featuring the Scouts in the starring role.

The BBQ will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by Retreat at approximately 7:00 p.m.  The campfire will begin at 8:00 after you’ve had time to see your son’s campsite and favorite spots in camp.

BBQ Dinner Tickets will be sold at the Camp Office throughout the afternoon until approximately 6:20 p.m.  The cost of a ticket is $9.00 per adult and $3.00 per child 12 and under.

All visitors must sign in at the Office upon arrival.  For the safety and comfort of all of our guests, we ask that you refrain from bringing pets to camp, including those on a leash.
