Resident Camp COVID-19 Protocols

Safety is always our top priority at Scout camp, and we are committed to providing a safe, healthy, and fun experience for all of our campers, leaders, and staff.  We have developed special protocols to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission at camp.  While waiting for the New York State Department of Health to release their expected COVID-19 regulations for summer camps, we have developed our protocols with the best available research and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Boy Scouts of America (BSA), and American Camp Association.  The guidelines shared by these agencies were informed by the experiences of summer camps that operated successfully throughout the country in 2020.

Our Resident Camp COVID-19 Protocols will be updated to align with New York State’s regulations, whenever they are released.  In the meantime, the draft document is available below for Scouts, parents, and leaders to review and familiarize themselves with.  If you have any questions about this document, please contact Camp Director Brian Murray.
