Welcome the first day of the new year with a winter hike around camp! Join a staff guided hike or follow your own trail. Scouts of all ages and their families and friends are welcome for this free event!
Camp historian Ed Keilen will lead a unique “Abandoned Campsite Hike” for those who are interested.
Don’t forget your water bottle. All participants will receive a First Day Hike 2023 water bottle sticker!
All participants are asked to register online to assist with event planning.
Camp will be open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for hikers. Hot chocolate and soup will be available at the warming station, but participants should plan to bring their own snacks/lunch. Please wear appropriate footwear and warm clothing appropriate for the conditions.
